Jean Baptiste Senaillé, French Baroque composer, was born on this day the 23rd of November, 1687.

According to Naxos, Jean Baptiste was the son of a violinist to the King and he became a pupil under Italian Baroque composer Tomaso Antonio Vitali, in Italy. When he returned to France, he became a member of le Chambre du Roi. Not much else is known about him, so let us appreciate his beautiful music.
